MINORIA

The Art of Becoming

White Structure

Minoria

A Space Gallery, Venice
In parallel with the Venice Art Biennale 2026

Minoria exists between being and non-being.
Unforeseen by metaphysics, overlooked by logic, it can only be sensed by those who truly create. It is a space where the law of existence does not yet apply, where absence is not a lack but a silence before sound.
Here, everything carries the essence of a possible being — not yet fully formed, yet already felt.

Every creative act, every gesture, every trace arises from this field, remaining both part of it and its unique manifestation.

Minoria has no form, no permanent being.
Its existence cannot be proven.
Though its manifestation is everything, it itself remains beyond definition.

It is immaterial, yet present in every act of creation, in every trace it leaves upon space and consciousness.

Minoria does not submit to rules, forms, or expectations.
It is open, unfinished, and absolutely free.
Every presence, every act of creation, is a gesture of emergence from the space between — a call to what has not yet found its own weight.

In Minoria, art does not arise from completeness but from longing for form.
The artist does not create in the classical sense — they summon, they reveal, they open light within darkness.
Every creative act is a passage through Minoria — an entry into a place where nothing exists for certain, yet everything is possible.

Artworks appear, transform, and dissolve in dialogue with space, light, shadow, and perception.
They are not static objects, but acts of revelation and transformation.
As smoke is the sign of fire — so every appearance is a sign of process, not its cause.

It is the pulse of light that has not yet emerged from the darkness.

In the first tremor of awareness arises preperceptio, the zero point, the moment when space begins to vibrate.
From that pulse emerges seismos, the subtle quake — the first breath of possible being.
From the penumbra unfolds adumbratio, the active shadow that shapes the contours of potentiality and directs the light toward form.
Gradually, lumen absconditum begins to glow — a hidden light, illuminating the inner space, revealing the memory of presence.

Within this rhythm appears texis — the weaving, the intertwining of presences — a tension between light and shadow that generates structure and movement.
And all unfolds within metaxia, the field between, where motion, shadow, and light coexist in eternal flux.

Minoria will manifest itself within A Space in Venice, a city between water and history, a place that is its true home.
Venice — the city of canals and shimmering reflections, breathing light upon water — is itself a space-between, where time seems to pause, and past, present, and possible beings intertwine in continuous motion.
Here, Minoria resonates and weaves its luminous paths, allowing every presence to appear in its full subtlety and freedom.

Either you will feel it, or you won’t.
Either you let it resonate, or it will fade.
Minoria does not ask.
Minoria does not wait.
Minoria simply is.

Each of its appearances is a luminous spiral of emergence.
Every breath, every shadow, every glimmer — is Minoria in motion.
You cannot hold it. You cannot confine it. It always flows.

Why Participate?

Welcome to the

MINORIA space

Presence in Venice

Show your work in Venice during the Biennale Arte 2026, in one of the world’s most symbolic cities of transformation — a city suspended between water and light, history and possibility.

Deep Conceptual Space

Be part of Minoria — a philosophical and artistic field that exists between being and non-being.
It is not an exhibition in the conventional sense, but a living process of emergence — where each artist becomes a participant in the spiral of becoming, revealing what has not yet taken form.

Authentic Voices

Minoria is a space of tender visibility.
It welcomes works that arise from intuition, silence, and inner truth — gestures that do not seek recognition but reveal the invisible.
Here, the act of creation is not a display, but a preperceptio — a vibration of being on the edge of appearance.

Who can apply to MINORIA? Artists, architects, designers, researchers, and thinkers from all over the world are welcome. There are no age or nationality restrictions.

Can I apply with a collective or team? Yes. Collaborative projects and collectives are welcome. Please mention this clearly in your application form.

Do I need to be present during my exhibition? It is not mandatory. However, your presence is encouraged, especially for opening events. Organizational support can be provided for an extra fee (€1000 per week)

Is there a curatorial selection process? Yes. All proposals are reviewed based on artistic quality and relevance to the theme of MINORIA. In the case of high interest, selection will also depend on the order of submissions.

What does the €100 application fee cover? It covers administrative and curatorial review costs. This fee is non-refundable.

Why is there a participation fee for exhibitions? The participation fee is a partial contribution to the real costs of organizing the exhibition – covering gallery space, curatorial support, logistics, administration, and the creation of a professional setting during the Venice Architecture Biennale. This model enables access for independent artists without relying on commercial gallery representation. Every submission is evaluated based on artistic merit and relevance to the HOMANITY concept. Payment does not guarantee selection.

Can I sell artworks during the exhibition? Yes. If the artist handles the sale independently, no commission is taken by the gallery. However, if the gallery facilitates or finalizes the sale on behalf of the artist (e.g. during collective exhibitions or through direct inquiry), a 40% commission will apply to cover the cost of promotion, presentation, and mediation. This helps support the sustainability of the project.

Are the artworks insured? Artists are responsible for insuring their own artworks during transportation, exhibition, and storage. While we do our best to provide a secure environment, MINORIA does not assume responsibility for any damage, theft, or loss. We recommend arranging individual or group insurance policies for the duration of the exhibition.

If I apply and get accepted, can I choose the exact exhibition dates? Yes – accepted artists will be invited to choose from available dates, within the timeframe of the project. We recommend applying early, as available slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Who installs the exhibition? Artists are responsible for installing and dismantling their exhibitions. The gallery provides technical guidance and, upon request, can offer installation support for an additional fee. In collective exhibitions, the gallery curates and arranges the works with respect to the overall narrative.
