What remains after the image has passed?

MINORIA: Afterimage brings together Oraczewski’s earlier image-based chapters of MINORIA with new works from Broken Masks. The exhibition is conceived not as a retrospective, but as an accumulation of traces: images that have already passed through states of emergence, recession and return.

The afterimage persists beyond immediate visibility — in memory, perception and matter. This chapter forms the culmination of the image-based phase of MINORIA before the project moves into the material field of Shape of Breath.

Presented independently by A Space Gallery in Venice during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
