MINORIA — Lumen Absconditum | Light, Time and Moving Image

1 min read

A Space Gallery presents MINORIA — Lumen Absconditum on 30–31 October 2026, with an opening gathering on Friday 30 October at 19:00.

Lumen Absconditum explores how light can make a presence perceptible without fully revealing it. An image emerges from darkness, occupies the gallery for a time and withdraws, leaving a trace in the viewer’s perception.

The exhibition is conceived entirely through projected moving images. Its light, immaterial character is a deliberate curatorial choice: the works inhabit the gallery through light, duration and, where appropriate, sound.

A single projector presents one complete work at a time in a repeating programme. The relationship between successive works allows each artistic language to retain its own rhythm while entering the shared space of MINORIA.

Artists participate through the digital delivery of agreed films and supporting material. There is no transport of physical artworks, and personal attendance is optional. The participating artists and the final screening programme will be announced after confirmation.

Curated by Monika Turczyńska. Organised by Successimo Monika Turczyńska, operating A Space Gallery.

30–31 October 2026. Opening: 30 October at 19:00, Venice time. A Space Gallery, Salizada Santa Giustina 2930, 30122 Venice, Italy.
