Info
MINORIA: Shape of Breath explores glass as a material memory of breath, fire, movement and transformation — suspended between emergence and disappearance.
Within MINORIA, glass is approached not as a finished object but as a trace of forces that once acted upon it: breath, heat, pressure, gravity and gesture. A metal network introduces another field of meaning — support, holding, preservation and the invisible structures through which material, labour and memory are sustained.
The installation also reflects on the disappearance of glassmaking traditions and the fragile continuity of material knowledge. What is suspended here is not only glass, but the memory of a world whose existence can no longer be taken for granted.
Featuring new works by Józef Krzysztof Oraczewski, including Broken Masks as a secondary image-layer within the installation.
Presented as part of The Venice Glass Week 2026. Exhibition: 12–20 September 2026, 2–7 PM. Opening: Wednesday, 16 September, 7…
