Exhibition within the Homanity project

Matter of Care is an exhibition that reflects on home as a process rather than a form. Chantia examines how space becomes home through care, repetition, and the gradual enclosing of what is fragile and difficult to define.

The works consist of vertical, semi-transparent panels containing fragments of milky, slightly scorched foam. The material functions as a filling rather than a structure, symbolizing what is invisible yet essential within a home: warmth, protection, and intention.

The exhibition is a continuation of Chantia’s earlier project Pearl, in which she explored long-term, often painful processes of forming layers around an incomprehensible core. In Matter of Care, this same logic is transferred to the scale of space and human relations.
